Flatio, Budens – bydlení na pár měsíců

Flatio's digital platform was a cumbersome and frustrating service to use. The owner of this particular property took 10 days to accept our rental. Flatio staff was always kindly, but making excuses for the owner wasted my time. The contract used for the property and the processing software were not user friendly. Flatio should keep in mind that they are dealing with guests from every walk of life. Their contracts and paperwork should reflect that every guest is not a lawyer; to get through the repetitive and superfluous language was trying and time consuming. I will not use Flatio for our yearly Algarve or any rental.

I would not recommend Flatio to friends because even though the people who rented out the apartment lied to us about how secure the apartment is. Flatio sided with the landlord and refused to force them to give us a full refund. Airbnb puts the tenant above the landlord.

I won't be using Flatio again after this experience. My advice: 1. Employ customer support staff who actually care 2. Don't pay landlords upfront as you have no power to look after your paying customers 3. Check with landlords if they will be staying in the property now and again – make sure this is noted on the listing 4. Check if children and dogs will be present at the property and make sure this is shown in the listing if they will be there, even once in a while 5. If the above points are lied about, let the customer leave early with a refund (only possible if the landlords aren't paid on move-in) I really feel the above are basics requirement when finding a long-term home, which is your business model.
