The property has a winning location - close to everything. Well maintained. Weekly cleaning of the apartment and change of bed linen.
Most welcoming and cooperative staff.
Wish I could stay longer.

Belix One bedroom Seaview Apartment (Beige)

Absolutely criminal. The host purposely misrepresented the internet speed in the ad. It is now 5 days after my departure and the listing still states 200 Mbps as the speed. The speed was actually 5-15 the vast majority of the time, sometimes just 1 or 2 Mbps, and at times inoperable for 15-60 minutes. -

The host advertises this place as suitable for remote workers, but the power went out dozens of times during my one month stay, at times for over an hour. The building has serious infrastructure issues. -

After 2 weeks, it became unbearable and harmful to my necessities, and I contacted her to end my 4 week lease and refund me for the remainder. This in itself would be an inconvenience from the initial agreement due to displacing me, but better than continuing to be subjected to the hardship created by her dishonesty. She refused to end the lease early or provide any refund, despite me having to relocate during the lease and pay for accomodations elsewhere. -

Again, the internet speed has never tested at the speed stated in the listing, and she maintains it in the ad here. She is a crook and I do not wish anything good for her in life. -

Flatio was content to allow her to keep the money for the lease despite her obvious breech of basic decency and failure to meet her own assurances. I suppose it was out of their hands. -

So on this platform, I do not recommend you place your trust in a host lightly before booking your stay. Find an option other than this one. -

There are also construction issues, such as a shower that floods the bathroom and pools to create mold. And the bedside counters are not properly adhered to the wall, causing a sloping ledge that isn't suitable to support even a glass of water. -

The shopping center the apartment is in is largely vacant and rundown, and you have to walk quite a while to access the beach either in Golem or Durress, as the coast near the apartment isn't open to the public. -

Absolutisht kriminale. Pritësi qëllimisht e keqinterpretoi shpejtësinë e internetit në reklamë. Tani kanë kaluar 5 ditë pas largimit tim dhe lista ende deklaron 200 Mbps si shpejtësi. Shpejtësia në fakt ishte 5-15 në shumicën dërrmuese të kohës, ndonjëherë vetëm 1 ose 2 Mbps, dhe ndonjëherë jofunksionale për 15-60 minuta. Pritësi e reklamon këtë vend si të përshtatshëm për punëtorët në distancë, por energjia elektrike u ndërpre dhjetëra herë gjatë qëndrimit tim njëmujor, ndonjëherë për më shumë se një orë. Ndërtesa ka probleme serioze me infrastrukturën. Pas 2 javësh, u bë e padurueshme dhe e dëmshme për nevojat e mia, dhe unë e kontaktova atë për të përfunduar kontratën time 4-javore të qirasë dhe për të më rimbursuar pjesën e mbetur. Kjo në vetvete do të ishte një shqetësim nga marrëveshja fillestare për shkak të zhvendosjes sime, por më mirë sesa të vazhdoja t'i nënshtrohesha vështirësive të krijuara nga pandershmëria e saj. Ajo refuzoi ta përfundonte kontratën e qirasë para kohe ose të më jepte ndonjë rimbursim, pavarësisht se më duhej të zhvendosesha gjatë kontratës së qirasë dhe të paguaja për akomodimin diku tjetër. Përsëri, shpejtësia e internetit nuk është testuar kurrë me shpejtësinë e deklaruar në listë, dhe ajo e mban atë në reklamën këtu. Ajo është një mashtruese dhe unë nuk i uroj asgjë të mirë në jetë. Flatio ishte e kënaqur që ajo të mbante paratë për qiranë pavarësisht shkeljes së dukshme të mirësjelljes themelore dhe dështimit për të përmbushur garancitë e saj. Mendoj se nuk ishte në duart e tyre. Pra, në këtë platformë, nuk ju rekomandoj t'i besoni lehtë një pritësi para se të rezervoni qëndrimin tuaj. Gjeni një mundësi tjetër përveç kësaj. Ka edhe probleme ndërtimi, siç është një dush që përmbyt banjën dhe pishina për të krijuar myk. Dhe banakët pranë komodinës nuk janë ngjitur siç duhet në mur, duke shkaktuar një prag të pjerrët që nuk është i përshtatshëm për të mbështetur as një gotë ujë. Qendra tregtare ku ndodhet apartamenti është kryesisht e zbrazët dhe e rrënuar, dhe duhet të ecni mjaft për të hyrë në plazh ose në Golem ose në Durres, pasi bregdeti pranë apartamentit nuk është i hapur për publikun.

very bright and comfortable apartment. would like to thank everybody at the hotel for being so friendly and helpfull. absolutely loved my time there.
spent 3 months in the apartment and have no complaints at all. highly recommended

ECONOMY APARTMENT -4 Min from the Beach!

Staying for three months at Belix Apartments in Durres, Albania, was a brilliant experience. If I could give it 10 stars I would! The apartments are of an extremely high standard, as is the building, the security, the lift, and the cleanliness. Moreover, the owner and team of staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful, going out of their way to help in every way.

Belix Apartments is situated just minutes from the beautiful beach lined with palm trees and great restaurants and bars. And it is just around the corner from wonderful shop of all kinds that are open until 8pm every night. This includes first-class inexpensive grocery stores, so this makes it super easy to carry shopping back to the apartment. Highly recommended!

The neighborhood is very safe, and the shopkeepers and restaurant owners are nice and friendly. And the prices are lower than in the EU.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it's a good spot to work as a digital nomad. We like the location, it's close to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. There is also a bus stop close by that you can use to get into town. The bed is comfy and getting your weekly cleaning is a nice touch. The staff are really friendly and make you feel at home.

I am grateful for how helpful Klea and her team were during our stay, they went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after. We had a pleasant stay in Plepa, a short walk from the beach and right next to the bus terminal to the centre of Durrës for 40 Lek each way. It’s a convenient jumping off point to other parts of Albania, as the southern bus terminal is across the road to visit other cities like Tirana and Berat. On the last day we got a taxi to the airport from the bus terminal. It was very straightforward. Faleminderit!

It’s about half an hour bus ride from central Durrës and 20 minute walk to the beach. Not a noisy or busy place when we visited between May and June. The apartment was clean but on the stairwells of the building and outside it was a bit untidy due to some prior construction work and shared use of the area by residents and tourists. Yet, we felt safe and comfortable.

Klea was very friendly and ready to help if needed. The apartment was also nice. At the current state, i think it is more suited for tourists on holiday, than for digital nomads, because the apartment lacked of a proper working desk. Klea however reassured me, that they will fix this in the future.

All the Albanian people I met in Durres were super kind and welcoming.

The quality of the roads are very bad and there is litter on the streets everywhere, a little bit more than the average in the Balkans.

There are gangs of stray dogs on the street. Many of them are marked, and they were chill, but still it might give someone the feeling of insecurity.

In the shops near you can find what you want.

Klea is very sweet and helpful. Always available n case of problem or to give advices. The flat was really nice, great WiFi connection for those looking to work, closed by bus station, supermarkets and the sea.
