Hanging from the cliff, The Cliff House is a unique accommodation that is located in the northern area of Tenerife with more hours of sunshine per year. Its panoramic sea views from its two terraces (one external and one internal) are simply breathtaking and extend across the wide Ocean to the Teide. Recently renovated and decorated with a marine and modern aesthetic, The Cliff House is a haven of peace, well connected and culminating with an impressive swimming pool open to the sea.
The space
The Cliff House is designed specifically for guests who are not only looking for accommodation, but to live a unique experience. As the name implies, the apartment hangs off the cliff and nothing separates its guests from the immense Atlantic Ocean. Therefore, to move the guest to the sea, The Cliff House is carefully decorated with a marine aesthetic (sailor capes, lanterns, etc.) with island reminiscences.
Starting from the outermost point, we find small stairs that lead us down to a small but cozy private terrace where you can enjoy the sun in privacy or have a drink at sunset, while watching the sunset on the horizon. From there you can see how the sun is reflected on the sea surface and, in the distance, a small fishing village crowned by the majestic Teide, which can be seen with total clarity on the clearest days.
On a level higher than the outside terrace, we find an interior 'terrace': with large windows, maintaining the views and two swivel chairs that hang from two sailor ends. In them, guests can immerse themselves in reading, have a pleasant evening conversation or swing with the soft murmur of the sea and the breaking of the waves.
Next, the spacious living room-kitchen opens, with an unusually high ceiling and equipped with a cheslong sofa bed, flat-screen TV and bluetooth stereo with mobile connectivity. In addition, for meetings of busier friends, swivel armchairs can be oriented towards the living room creating a unique leisure space.
The kitchen, open to the living room, completes the space and is fully equipped (fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, etc.). It has a large island-dining room, made in a single piece of a unique veined granite, from which guests can cook, if they wish, with the blue of the sea in the background.
In a separate area we find the double bedroom, with abundant natural light and spacious closets available to guests. Finally, we find a diaphanous bathroom next to it, with a careful selection of materials and an open and spacious shower.

The neighborhood
The apartment is located on the Sauzal coast, in the area known as 'El Puntillo del Sol'. It received that name for the way in which the sun moves on the horizon until it crosses the line of the sea that can be seen from the area and for being the area of the north of the island that records more hours of sunshine per year.
The accommodation is perfect for those travelers who want to continue enjoying the climate of Tenerife without suffering the large agglomerations of the south of the island.
In the same building we find a pizzeria with one of the best pizzas on the island (thin and authentically Italian dough) and in which we can order food to take away (and enjoy them on the terrace of the apartment). In addition, a few meters away we find a German restaurant (Ferdis Restaurant), with a terrace, where you can also have a beer when the afternoon falls.
A few meters away, by car or hiking, we access the Costa de Rojas, a recently arranged coastal promenade that runs through a relevant part of the northern coast. In addition, at the end of the walk, almost at the foot of the houses above, we find magnificent natural swimming pools in which to cool off.
The apartment is also perfect as a starting point for the best attractions on the island (taking advantage of the easy parking in it):

- 16 minutes from El Bollullo beach, an exotic black sand cove frequented by locals.
- 17 minutes from the connection (TF-2) with the southern highway (TF-1) to visit the south face of the island.
- 18 minutes from Loro Parque (one of the best animal theme parks in the world according to Tripadvisor) and Puerto de la Cruz (where we will find magnificent sandy beaches).
- It has an easy and direct access to the Natural Park of Las Cañadas del Teide.
- A 20-minute drive from the center of the historic capital of the island, La Laguna
- 25 minutes from the capital of the island, Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
- 30 minutes from the Mirador de la Cruz del Carmen, from which the best hiking trails on the island leave through the Anaga Natural Park.

Jak už název napovídá, apartmán visí z útesu a jeho hosty nic nedělí od nedozírného Atlantického oceánu. Proto, aby se hosté přenesli k moři, je The Cliff House pečlivě vyzdoben námořnickou estetikou (námořnické pláštěnky, lucerny atd.) s reminiscencemi na ostrovy.
Od nejvzdálenějšího bodu najdeme malé schody, které nás zavedou dolů na malou, ale útulnou soukromou terasu, kde si můžete v soukromí užívat slunce nebo si dát drink při západu slunce a pozorovat přitom západ slunce na obzoru. Odtud je vidět, jak se slunce odráží na mořské hladině, a v dálce malou rybářskou vesničku korunovanou majestátním Teide, které je za nejjasnějších dnů vidět naprosto jasně.
O úroveň výš než venkovní terasa se nachází vnitřní "terasa": s velkými okny, zachovávajícími výhled, a dvěma otočnými křesly, která visí na dvou námořnických koncích. V nich se hosté mohou ponořit do četby, příjemně si večer popovídat nebo se pohoupat za tichého šumění moře a šumění vln.
Dále se otevírá prostorný obývací pokoj s kuchyní, který má neobvykle vysoký strop a je vybaven podlouhlou rozkládací pohovkou, televizorem s plochou obrazovkou a bluetooth stereo soupravou s možností připojení mobilního telefonu. Pro setkání zaneprázdněnějších přátel lze navíc otočná křesla orientovat směrem do obývacího pokoje a vytvořit tak jedinečný prostor pro trávení volného času.
Prostor doplňuje kuchyně otevřená do obývacího pokoje, která je plně vybavená (lednice, trouba, myčka, mikrovlnná trouba, pračka atd.). Má velký jídelní ostrůvek, vyrobený z jediného kusu jedinečné žulové žíly, z něhož mohou hosté v případě zájmu vařit s modří moře v pozadí.
V oddělené části najdeme dvoulůžkovou ložnici s bohatým přirozeným světlem a prostornými skříněmi, které jsou hostům k dispozici. A konečně vedle ní najdeme průsvitnou koupelnu s pečlivě vybranými materiály a otevřeným a prostorným sprchovým koutem.

Hosté mají přístup k jednomu z nejunikátnějších bazénů, v jakém měli možnost být: jedná se o bazén, který visí na svahu plném exotické ostrovní vegetace, s jedinečným soukromím a širokým výhledem na moře.

Apartmán se nachází na pobřeží Sauzal, v oblasti známé jako "El Puntillo del Sol". Tento název získala díky způsobu, jakým se slunce pohybuje po obzoru, dokud nepřekročí linii moře, která je z této oblasti vidět, a díky tomu, že se jedná o oblast na severu ostrova, která zaznamenává více hodin slunečního svitu za rok.
